QGIS 2.0 can be downloaded from the links below. Modern computers are normally 64-bit.
If you have a Windows computer, you can see how many bits your computer has by clicking on the START button, then right click on COMPUTER and choose PROPERTIES.
Please note that the 64 bit version supports the ECW raster format, 32 bit does not.
Run the file you have downloaded, and follow these steps:
Click "Next" ...
Click "I Agree" ...
You have the option to change the destination folder, if you like. Otherwise click "Next" ...
Click "Install" ...
The installer will run for a while...
Installation is complete. Press "Finish".
After installation, several shortcuts appear on your desk.
To run QGIS, you only need one of them, which looks like this:
