In the name of God, the Most Gracious, Most Merciful...

Many of us wear the mask of deception.
We pretend to be someone we are not, or feel something we don't. When we live without principles, we end up losing ourselves.

The essence of life is not about 'what' but 'who' you have become. Life is filled with ups and downs but every passing day should leave us stronger than before.
We all want to achieve the best but ultimately our success comes from God.
Prophet Shu'aib (peace be upon him) said in the Qur'an (11:88):
"...my success can only come from God. In Him I trust, and unto Him I turn."

Nothing comes easy to most of us.
We have to work hard to earn a living.
Likewise, we all want Paradise to be our everlasting abode but we don't work towards it.

We rush to appreciate what people do for us but show ingratitude towards Gods' Graces by neglecting or delaying our religious responsibilities (praying, reciting, wearing our hijab etc.)

We are in such an intellectual phase yet we are more ignorant by chasing after dreams and running races we can never win.
When our love for this world is greater than our love for God, one will always feel discontent and disheartened.
On the contrary, if our love for God exceeds that of this world, one will be always feel humbled and aspired to better their connection to God because they trust and understand that everything is the decree of God. grandmother of the bride dresses

When God is with you:
no fire can burn you (eg. Prophet Abraham),
no knife can cut you (eg. Prophet Ismael),
no sea can drown you (eg. Prophet Moses),
no whale can eat you (eg. Prophet Jonah),
no treachery can overcome you (eg. Prophet Joseph),
no loss/heartache can claim you (eg. Prophet Jacob)
no impossibility can ruin you (eg. Prophet Zachariah)
no illness can defeat you (eg. Prophet Job)
no harm can reach you (eg. Prophet Jesus)
no trial can defeat you (eg. Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and all the other Prophets too)

Our Lord,
Help us understand our true purpose.
Guide us towards Your Pleasure.
Protect us from all kinds of deception.
Forgive our ignorance and arrogance.
Bless us with Your endless bounties.
You alone do we worship.
You alone do we ask for help.
You are the means of our success.
Unto You we turn in repentance.
In You we place our trust.
Ameen.
