Wow that was a long day! I did great with the 2 targeted drugs. Then I got the taxotere. I started itching rather quickly, itchy throat and ears, hives on my thighs. Had to pause to get a double dose of benadryl and steroids. Then we proceeded at half rate infusion for 30 min. Reaction was very minimal at that point so we finished up at full speed. I didn't have time to get my baseline echocardiogram today. I'm back mondayfor a neuro folllowup so the rescheduled it for the same day. Having a bite to eat and headed home!
